Bio
I have 35 years of experience in the Food & Beverage industry, currently the Owner & Sommelier of Coppia Restaurant & Wine Bar, in Portland, Oregon. (I started the business as Vino Paradiso Wine Bar & Bistro in 2005, and we re-branded as Coppia in 2011.)
I am also a vocalist and percussionist for the Portland-based, world-touring band, Pink Martini, and have been with the band for 13 years.
While pairing food and wine is my biggest passion in life, pairing song and dance is a close second. My world on the road, and my life at the restaurant are so completely different, but those two world collide constantly. I consider myself bless; to do so many things I love, AND get paid to do them...I am living a dream. This site is a log of my two worlds, rolled into one, as I Graze The Globe.
