Bio
I am a retired physician, specializing in Environmental and Occupational Medicine. I still do forensic medical testimony helping victims of Asbestosis and Asbestos-related cancer obtain compensation.
I started singing as a teenager, and have studied voice for many years. In 2005-2006, after my retirement from full time medical practice, I started studing with a Cornelius Reid trained voice teacher, and my voice blossomed. Since then I have performed a few recitals with Miriam Bergman, pianist, and with Gary Norden, who is my vocal coach, and pianist on the CD I have just recorded.
I also sing with the chorus New Amsterdam Singers, a choir that sings mostly acapella vocal works. I am also interested in social change, and action on preventing the worst effects of anthropogenic emissions of green house gasses.
