Bio
I was born and raised in Silicon Valley, CA. After receiving my Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communications Studies and minor in European studies, I decided to pack my bags and move to France. It was the single best decision I have ever made.
While living in Lyon, France I learned to sleep, breathe (and eat) the French culture; I became fluent not only in the language but all things French. While there I was fortunate to have the time to grow and find many of my true passions, one being sharing my stories with others through the written word.
Once back on American soil with my passions at heart I joined the corporate world and began my Marketing career. I love’s my day job, and am lucky to work on the projects and with the people I do, but like many others I wanted to do MORE for myself than just work my day job.
After years of an unchecked box on my bucket list I decided to follow the heart of the girl I found in France. Scattered through this blog I will share bits and pieces of my memorable time in France so that I can share with anyone reading some of my favorite moments while there.
Aside from my 9-5 and blogging I enjoy spending time with my dog, Sophie, my family & friends, reading, drinking wine, speaking French, volunteering for the IS Foundation and of course learning new things.
