Bio
Syren is a writer, activist, and community builder. They are the founder of Disabled Hikers, a community by and for disabled people in the outdoors. Syren writes trail guides designed for the diverse disability community and created a new accessibility rating system. They also write on advocacy and disability justice and are available for consultations. Syren is the author-in-progress of a groundbreaking guidebook: The Disabled Hiker's Guide, to be published by FalconGuides.
