Bio
Do you know that "lightbulb moment?" Or some call it the "aha moment" Well, that is why I love being a teacher. It is so much fun to see the delight on one of my student's faces when they suddenly see or learn something new. And there is so much new to explore! Every day I find something new and fun to share.
So much fun and learning is right at our fingertips today thru the wonders of technology.
I've wandered (via google maps) down a street in Germany where a 70 something student of mine lived 40 years ago... I've connected another to a resource for all kinds of interesting courses she can take, both online and in our own town.... Another student keeps in touch with her daughter who lives in Thailand.
All of this and more is why I do what I do... teach people how to comfortably and confidently use their iPads and iPhones and computers.
By background, professionally I've been a teacher, a social worker, a realtor and a community volunteer. Personally, I"m a gardener, a walker and hiker, a dog lover, an ocean lover, a mom, a wife and a friend.
