Bio
Tania studied at the Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance, at LABAN, at the London Contemporary Dance School and at Goldsmiths. In summer 2002 she was a dance web participant in Vienna. She danced for some companies, i.e. Zephyr in Zanussi and Small Room Dance, and (dance) artists, i.e. Vangelis Legakis and Annick Pütz, as well as in collaborations and within the collective Explorer. Since 2003 she creates her own work, such as "Wholly", a solo touring as part of the Dance Roads Festival in Europe , the trio "it (instead of twenty-one-words)", shown at Les Repérages, France, the solo "Back to the roots with Jimy", performed at the Luxembourg Dance Festival, Nancy and Zagreb, the Deborah Hay solo adaptation "I’ll crane for you" and a duet with musician and performer Sam Alty called "Two people coming together", both performed among others at the Place in London. In September 2013 she premiered a new choreography "soulsongdances" for four women and with musician Nuno Brito, with whom she is currently doing a one year Boost Program consisting of 8 residencies over 2013-2014, working on a movement and sound, music and dance project towards a duet entitled "beat’n’shine".
