W E L C O M E !
Hi I'm Juanita and I come from a long line of creative country women who were never without a craft project in their hands - sewing, stitching, knitting, crocheting, weaving.
Ever since I first picked up a needle and thread as I practiced for my Brownie Sewing Badge, craft tools have always been by my side too... Add a life-long passion for design and creativity and you have a match made in craft heaven. Adept at the art of creating craft, I will attempt any challenge - I am a proud creative extraordinaire!
Years of ‘creating’ behind a computer in the magazine world made me reach out again for my beloved sewing kit and get back to basics. Whilst hanging with my 12 year old nieces, I rediscovered my love of sewing and was astonished how easily the children of today took up the skills, enjoyed the experience and dismissed their iPhones! I was also astonished how much I loved creating by hand as well!
Since establishing Tapioca Times, I have hosted parties for Hens Days, crafternoons for birthdays, for friends and for no particular reason at all. I also take kids craft parties for children aged between 10-14 years. And I also love working with Brides and Grooms on their wedding styling for their big day.
Crafternoons are our specialty, creativity is our passion for hens days + kids parties + birthdays + weddings + anything!
