Bio
California native who has lived a varied life. I've seen and lived much in 18 years in Mexico and have now returned to a country that seems familiar and very new, at the same time. I've grown as I never realized I could and have myself counted as quite lucky. I am a movie buff and write screenplays, stories and anything that can be considered a brain fart.
Photography and bullfighting are my forte. I am a soccer fan and can easily say I hate most other organized sports of popular following in the US (football and baseball are NOT to my liking). I used to be a fencer and a men's lacrosse player (unusual being as that I am a woman). My musical tastes run the gamete of everything from flamenco to electronic beats. I enjoy modern dance and love attending performances. I have a soft spot for anything art nouveau and hats. I love haute couture and admire greatly Karl Lagerfeld.
I am smitten with Rene Magritte, Eduardo Galeano and Andrei Konchalovski.
Jean Claude Carriere is my hero, an excellent writer and is a phenomenal person.
Antonio Canales is nobility and art all in one. Flamenco is nothing without him.
The latest novelty in my life is that itch that doing a triathlon has given me: doing the 70.3 Ironman at least twice in one year. I know that I should be declared brain dead, especially after seeing men and women walking the 21 kms in the run, lips dry and white from dehydration, athletes limping across the finish line, but all THOSE crazy people inspired me to be a little crazy too.
What the hell....life is too short to convince yourself that you can't do something. Might as well try it all.
