Bio
Tanya M. Cooper is a published author of eight books. Her non-fiction, entitled, L.O.V.E. Live a Life Of Vibrant Energy; her novels, The Revolutionary's Daughters; it's sequel, Beneath the Stone Cold Floor (A diary of a Spanish nun); The Wayward Daughters; Waiting on Postcards; Dog Eared; and a historical biography, Doll in the Woodpile: A Home Child's Journey from England to Canada in 1908.
Tanya has a Bachelor of Honours degree in English, History, Indigenous Studies and her Bachelor of Education. She has been teaching for over twenty years, the first three in Colombia, South America and most recently, throughout Canada. She has had her own radio program called, On Second Thought with a local radio station and has published articles in local newspapers as well. Her passions are travelling, teaching, writing and speaking regarding social injustice.
She hopes to educate and inspire others to speak out about injustice and also to inspire young women to pursue their education and ultimately, their dreams. Tanya is currently teaching, writing her fourth novel and is a life-coach and provides workshops on her blog: L.O.V.E. Living a Life of Vibrant Energy. She currently resides in Belleville, Ontario, Canada.
