Bio
Development and marketing consultant living in New York City. Have been a tennis fan for years. As a child, I was fascinated that Goolagong was one of the few who could beat Chrissie, that Chrissie was one of the few who could beat King, that King was one of the few that could beat Court, and finally Martina could give them all fits. Too, the Borg/Conner rivalry was finally moved aside for the young and unknown McEnroe. Through the 80s and 90s I was on-again, off-again, but around 2000, I began my dissent into pro-tennis madness. Within a few years, I was so ravenous, I would examine the qualifying rounds and send out good thoughts to the losers and cheer for those who fought there way into tournaments. No Tier is too small, no Slam is too large. And don't get me started on my soapbox about the complete lack of televised doubles matches.
I am a fan of all but a few. I'm sure that will come out in my future blogging.
