Bio
I am a man, blogging about my life and experience in the world: as seen through a historical perspective or lens much broader than my self, but considering my own observations of life at this particular point in space and time. By Professor, I am a lawyer; my country is the United States, and I speak English and Spanish. The intent of the writing on this site is that it is left for future generations: to read and analyze, for a historical perspective: as the experience and thoughts of one person at a particular time, recalling my own interest or desire to read the perspectives of ordinary people in history through the ages. The writing found here may also be read be a contemporary audience of my peers or those of other generations, and any thoughtful comments, insights and/or diverse perspectives from others are encouraged: although also not necessary. I am writing this for future generations, and also for myself at a later age. As with many of the statements which may be found here: simultaneous truths may exist behind a particular remark. Finally, a note on the usage of the term: Anglophone, and an explanatory note on why this term is used to describe myself: the centrality of language to my own identity and self-expression is something I have often considered that my countrymen may take for granted. I am actually particularly interested in foreign languages, having two degrees: a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, and a Juris Doctor in Law. One of the other motives in my own writing is often to write statements of clear, colloquial expression for those of foreign tongues to emulate.
