Bio
As a budget-conscious young adult, I’m constantly on the hunt for top quality, stellar customer service, and fun at affordable costs when it comes to dining around town and finding new things to do and wear. I quickly discovered that I’m not alone in this pursuit and decided in 2008 to start documenting my finds here. Additionally, in order to stay within budget I do a lot of at home cooking and entertaining so my kitchen triumphs, disasters, and how-tos are on display. Interspersed are sporadic humorous and thoughtful anecdotes, exchanges, and observations on my personal life. I’m big on balance so you’ll see me wine tasting with my boyfriend or dining out and playing tennis with my girlfriends in one post, and in another I’m playing bocce ball with my family or trail running by myself. Posts on cookies, cupcakes, and cake balls are offset by 10K race recaps, weightlifting, hiking, or biking. Yes, posts will primarily pertain to the Bay Area as this is where I currently call home. However, I am no stranger to traveling so check back often to read up on my noteworthy discoveries and to chime in on your faves, too. Follow me as I navigate food, fun, and 5Ks!
