Bio
I’m a singer/songwriter, screenwriter and filmmaker (whew!!!). Born and raised in Jamaica, I have always been pushed towards performing and creating stories. I started writing and singing at a very young age and have been using these talents ever since, what with me always being picked to act, sing and write songs for skits and school plays. While attending high school I honed my acting and singing chops which mainly had me competing against other students and schools. My goal of becoming a doctor quickly faded away when I realized my calling in the performing arts. After years in journalism, I went on to do what I always wanted – singing. But it was not long before I realized that filmmaking had to be a part of my life. Studying at City College, FL and American InterContinental University, FL supported my craft. My first major televised documentary, “MY NAME IS JEVON” about an autistic teen, has been shown in the US, Jamaica and Barbados and has been lauded for its in depth look at the lower spectrum of autism. With my first demo album, “Anywhere But Here” in the works and my first major short film, “RECKONING”, I plan on making big strides in the entertainment business.
