Bio
My name is D'Marco Ansari and I graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy with a Bachelors of Arts in International Business and Economics in 2009 and most recently a Master of Arts in Economics in May of 2011. With an interest in community, cultural, economic, and political developments and a stronger interest in writing and traveling, it was only natural that a blog chronicling development in urban areas was a fitting endeavor.
Ansari uses this passion in traveling and experiencing different cultures to discuss what the media has failed to show: the unbiased occurrences of the Millenial Generation and disenfranchised groups across the nation and globe. D'Marco's goal is to challenge the forgotten and disenfranchised groups in America and around the world, especially in the urban setting (his home) to rise above their situation by being creative, innovative, and never accepting conformity as a solution.
The world doesn't change when we decide to conform to it. The world changes when we accept that money isn't everything and true happiness can't be bought. With this philosophy, D'Marco Ansari seeks to give examples of those who exemplify this attitude and give advice on how others can do the same.
