Bio
I am 79 years old and live in Yelm, Washington. All my life I was an artist and hadn't even considered writing a book. After my youngest son died I knew his life had to be shared.
This is a true story, with nothing held back. It addresses childhhood sexual abuse, drugs, and a very dysfuntional family - from 1932 through 2011. The pages are also filled with true-life miracles and deep love.
My son, Sherman Dougherty - age 60 this July, and his sister, Susan Dougherty who was 58 last Valentines day are a constant joy to me. Never to be forgotten is my youngest son who's 51 short years I shall always treasure.
Added to my dearest family members are, Christoper Dougherty, my grandson, and his wife Maria. Their children, my great-granddaughter, Kira, and Great-grandson Christopher jr. (CJ) add a dimension to my life that dreams are made of.
