Bio
I'm seventy years old. (73-&-1/2, right about now) Since the '70s, I'd been a leader in the psychotherapy profession; a member of examining & executive boards, commissions and ethics committees. I've had a private practice in a well-healed community. In 2002, I had my second stroke. It left me with an inability to speak or move.
Twelve years! A lifetime. Not much time left. I've already been declared dead more than once. Living; painful tho it is, is better than dying.
"After I died, I got a new appreciation of life" Today I write, learn, mentor my family, husband my wife, take joy where I find it, and accept my limitations, such as they are.
I hope you'll find my experiences instructive. Maybe even inspirational. I'm alive when no one thought I would make it. And still living a grace filled life.
