Bio
In 2009, I was laid off from the Oil & Gas industry and remained unemployed for almost a year. Then, when I finally began working again, I was doing so for less than half of the income I had been making a year prior. I, actually, had been making more on unemployment! However, I survived all of it without losing my house, my car, taking out any loans, or going into debt in any way. How? I’ve always been thrifty, I just had to learn to be thriftier. We all know to use coupons and follow couponing blogs, but let’s be honest, we don’t always have the time in our busy schedules to stay on top of couponing. And I’m not convinced that you save a significant amount unless you are an “extreme couponer”. (I hate those people.. I just wanted one.. Lol.) I refuse to pay full price for anything if I don’t have to, but I’m talking beyond coupons and rebates. I’m talking about prescription medications, medical procedures, tires, appliances, etc. The higher dollar things that will really hit your pocket book. That is what I intend to share with my readers. I hope I can help you all save a few bucks.
