Bio
Aunt Ticky writes letters with uncommon common sense and pepper.
A mature woman of indeterminate age, she is a mother to no one and an Aunt to all.
Aunt Ticky's letters can be wise, witty, exhasperating, silly and sometimes downright poinient because she lives and writes from her heart, attuned to the code that beat out her journey unique. She follows what beckons her, and urges others to do the same as, in her experience, each person's heart already knows its path to happiness.
As you might imagine, Aunt Ticky is not cut from the cloth of Status Quo. No, she slipped away early from her well to do family to find her own way, taking many a less traveled road on her adventure. Along the way she began writing letters to her nephews and neices, sharing bits of wisdom she thought might help them as they struggled to grow up, as we all do in some way or other. She wrote because she remembered how lost and alone she used to feel growing up, especially after her beloved Great Gamma passed on. She wrote because she would have liked to receive such letters when she was young. Now she can't stop writing letters, on all sorts of topics, and is most pleased to have has found her way to the blog-o-sphere.
Aunt Ticky hopes her letters provide the warm hug we all seek from caring relatives and friends and more so, she hopes her readers will be inspired to pass on their own wisdom to loved ones as well. Because when your from nowhere, on your way to somewhere, the joy of a letter from home to sure give you a boost for many a day.
