Bio
Taylor was born and raised in Oakland, California. He attended parochial and public schools, graduating from Oakland Technical High School in 1957. Taylor and Marie Helen Castellanos married in 1963 and raised two children, Kimberly and Michael. In 2009, after a long illness, Marie passed away. She is lovingly remembered by her family, friends, and her grandchildren, Megan and Austin.Currently, Taylor works as an advocate, grant writer, and author. He spends his time playing with his grandchildren, volunteering, and putting time in on the golf course.
