Bio
I am a psycho-spiritual counselor, an award-winning writer; visual artist, poet and photographer whose work has appeared in various women's and spiritual publications.
This photo-journal began as a record of my inner journey through breast cancer to wholeness. I am finding that the journey to wholeness is a life-long adventure reflecting the varying states of my thoughts, feelings and emotions as I move through life. By fully embracing each day, whatever its content, I find a joy in being which is difficult to communicate with words alone. And so, my camera has become "my partner in crime."
It is my hope that this photo-journal "from the heart" provides a bit of light in the lives of others who are seeking a way out of disease, fear, poverty and any other disorder and/or imbalance of body-mind-spirit.
It is also my hope and intention that this blog serves as a vehicle of self-renewal for those seeking a deeper sense of purpose and fulfillment in the "ordinariness" of day to day living. May you discover as I have, that it is not what life brings to us that gives wings to our hearts but what we bring to life!
I offer telephone support and guidance to women who are ready to recreate themselves and their lives.
