Bio
Freelance Travel Writer and Photojournalist
Travel can change the world.
As a writer, photographer and avid traveler, Tracey envisions the positive economic effect tourism can develop in every nation. Her interest in the travel industry is political: tourism has a tremendous influence on policy, environmental efforts, job creation and business growth.
After working at Forbes Magazine as assistant to the publisher and subsequently a contributing travel writer, Tracey circumnavigated the globe and reviewed hotels and destinations all over the world.
She has worked in the showrooms of Fendi and Alexander Wang and spent time in the jewelry industry learning the ins and outs of business, eventually earning a graduate degree in diamonds. Tracey perceives this ancient art form as a symbol of a country's heritage and distinctive style, looking for unique and culturally inspired jewelry everywhere she goes.
Tracey graduated from the University of Colorado–Boulder, where she received a B.A. in Philosophy with a concentration in Values and Social Policy, a minor in Religious Studies and an interdisciplinary accreditation in Peace and Conflict Studies.
