Bio
I've seen everything and am surprised by nothing. I'm a single mom and PICU nurse. I started this blog because I have lots to say and not enough people to listen. Lol. I have a need to write about things relevant to my life and personal growth and I hope you find it useful in your life as well. I'm a single mom, nurse, advocate, volunteer, medical missionary, organ donor family, writer, cynic and self described comedian. I'm compassionate, introspective, genuine, honest and a natural giver in life. I'd like to cover topics I'm passionate about like Life in the PICU, 40 and Fabulous, Nurses are my Heroes, Perseverance, Loss of a Child: The Before and After, The Magnificent Miss Moo, Organ Donation, Girlfriends and more. Speaking of girlfriends, I've had a close knit group of girlfriends for over 20 years. I have to keep them. They hold my skeletons in their closets. They are by far the funniest people I know. So whenever we are about to be brutally honest with one another, we begin with "OK, are you ready? This might sting a little." So brace yourselves. This might sting a little. :)
