Bio
I am an adult amateur rider and competitor. I compete in dressage and eventing, which calls for a lot of gear, so its VERY important I research an item before parting with my hard earned money.
The purpose of this blog is to offer up my thoughts and opinions on equestrian products. Like most adult amateur riders I have a full time job whose sole purpose is to fund my horses. So, it is vital that I be extremely conscientious when I purchase any horse related items. I hope you find my reviews helpful as I have given them a lot of thought. When I look at an item to buy, I think about the quality of the product and its potential longevity along with, of course, the price of the item. I want to make sure I spend my $ carefully as we all know that horses are not cheap! I will agonize over a purchase, especially if I feel its a bit pricey. I want to make sure that I get plenty of bang for my buck and not just a name brand.
As I am a huge supporter of local businesses, I will include a link to my local tack shop, Equus Now! where you can purchase the item or just browse around (cause face, we equestrians do love to window shop) The folks there are WONDERFUL and offer amazing customer service.
So, I hope you find this blog helpful. Again, this is just my opinion and take on items I have found that meet my needs as an adult amateur rider and competitor. I may also include some feedback on horse related literature I have read. This is my first blog so I am learning as I go and I guess we will see what direction that takes us :)
Onwards and upwards!
