Bio
I have Master’s of Science degree in Library and Information Sciences and an Advanced Diploma in Educational Administration. Early my career, I worked in the public library system in New York and was then Director of Communications and Media where I was responsible for the development of library media centers in a large public school system.
For most of my career, I worked as a public affairs consultant for numerous non-profit organizations assisting in capacity building, fund development, and advocating for policy changes for the underserved. I worked closely with business and government officials to develop policy and legislation. My most recent work involved promoting sustainability issues through collaborations with government, businesses and non-profits organizations.
I have been deeply involved in advocating for women’s equality and the rights of the underprivileged, and I served on numerous boards promoting awareness of these issues. I amcurrently a board member of the Women’s Museum of California and chairperson of the museum’s fund development committee.
