Bio
Hi! My name is Naomi Alper. I’m a writer by training, trade, and passion, but a 17-year foray into small business ownership sidetracked that part of my life. I owned a variety of businesses over the years, but the most rewarding—and fun!—one was a mighty little gift shop and clothing store in Burbank, California, which I sold two years ago so that I could pursue other passions.
I soon realized that I missed the excitement of discovering cool new products—and former customers that I’d run into would tell me how much they missed buying them. I also missed the ins and outs (and ups and downs!) of running a business, too.
So that’s what “Trust Me, They’ll Love It” is all about: scoping out the hippest new gifts I can find, talking shop—and sharing it with all of you. And hopefully you’ll share right back.
