Bio
I work as a Practitioner Psychologist with a leading charity that supplies specialist services with children and young people in need. With over 20 years of experience in various settings, I have developed a deep commitment to improving the mental health, well-being, and learning of children and young people, especially those who face multiple challenges and disadvantages.
In my current role, I co-lead a multidisciplinary team that specialises in supporting children's transitions from care back to their birth families or from residential to foster care. My core competencies include team leadership, supervision, consultation, assessment, intervention, training, and research, with a focus on attachment, trauma, attention deficit hyperactivity, and the autism spectrum. I have post-graduate qualifications in educational psychology and counselling, as well as multiple publications and certifications. I aim to renew child and family psychology by emphasising lived experience and meaningful questions in my work, which encompasses practice, teaching, research, and supervision.
