Recently reimagined, Vice-Versa is now an online interactive space primarily for workshopping unfinished creative works. To participate in our online workshop, you need to submit an unfinished piece along with one or two questions or comments about the work. If we choose to accept and publish your unfinished work, we will then facilitate an online dialogue about the published work between Vice-Versa readers and you (the author or creator of the work). If you choose to revise your work based on this feedback, Vice-Versa will also post the new, "final" work. Through this process, we hope to emphasize the collaborative nature of creative works and enact our multidirectional name, Vice-Versa.
Vice-Versa seeks to publish thought-provoking works of fiction, non-fiction, poetry, visual art, interviews, and reviews of literary and artistic events by one or multiple authors. Based in the University of Hawai'i, we are dedicated to publishing voices from Hawai'i and the Pacific alongside work from all over the world. We are also committed to exploring what it means to be an online publication, and as such, we welcome submissions of videos, e-literature, and other multimedia work, in addition to essays and reviews on technology and literature/art.
