Bio
Priscilla’s colorful career spans over 20 years combined in Workforce Development and Higher Education Administration
taught Intro to Public Speaking as an adjunct professor at both two and four year institutions;
served more than 10 years at the National Urban League as national workforce development director where she provided oversight of the SCSEP (Senior Community Service Employment Program) across six states and seven urban league affiliates “SCSEP is a community service and work based training program for older workers. Authorized by the Older Americans Act, the program provides subsidized, service-based training for low-income persons 55 or older who are unemployed and have poor employment prospects”;
In addition, Priscilla is Author of: "The Best Things In Life are Dreamed",--a rhyming children's bedtime story of life's lessons whose aim is to encourage reading with children while inspiring them to have BIG dreams and an understanding about connecting those dreams to goals and actions. She is a mother, lover of houseplants, rose gardening and walks in the park. She's a long-time health food and exercise enthusiast with rich life experience to share. Intrigued by what she continues to learn about true American history and global cultural traditions. She strives to be authentic, is a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategist, and a proud member, of Go On Girl Book Club, the NVC Community and Momentum Education.
