Bio
Claire Papevies, a native of Atlanta, GA, was introduced to yoga in 2002 during a Prayer and Meditation course in high school. It was there she realized the positive impact a regular practice of yoga can have on one’s life. Her yoga practice has helped her recover quickly from athletic injuries requiring surgery, allowing her to continue living the free spirited and adventurist lifestyle she enjoys. She has a keen passion for travel and exploring different cultures as well as hiking, watersports, rockclimbing, connecting with nature and of course, yoga. Claire loves to constantly challenge herself and learn new things by stepping outside of her comfort zone, realizing the rewards are greater than the risks. Practicing yoga regularly keeps her grounded and is a necessity in her life with the awareness it brings. Claire has explored many different styles of yoga and teachers. With her discovery of Noah Maze, she knew she wanted to study under Noah and his emissaries. She completed her 200-hour Yoga Alliance teacher training with Amy Petty, Sarah Bohairy, and Noah Maze in Bali, Indonesia. She is excited to share her experiences and passions with others and focuses on teaching an alignment based practice. Claire may be contacted at clairedeluneyoga@gmail.com
