Bio
I am board-certified urologist in Wilmington North Carolina for the past 17 years. I completed a 6 year urology residency training at Duke University after having served four years in the Navy as a medical officer. I did my surgical internship at Boston University after completing my MD degree at Temple University. Prior to this, I did one year of postbaccalaureate studies in cellular biology after having completed a four-year degree in biology at Temple University in Philadelphia.
I am married to Maria Elena and have two sons.
I have lived in Puerto Rico, Philadelphia, Boston, New Orleans, San Diego, Durham North Carolina and Wilmington North Carolina where I have been for the past 17 years.
While in the Navy, I was assigned to the USS Germantown for two years of which nine months were spent in the Persian Gulf during the first war. During those two years I had the opportunity to visit Pearl Harbor, the Philippines, Qatar, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Singapore, San Francisco, Dutch Harbor in the Aleutian Islands of Alaska.
I have had to visit several countries in Central America, South America and Europe.
