Bio
I am a TESOL professor at the Universidad Técnica Nacional (UTN) and Universidad Estatal a Distancia (UNED) in Costa Rica. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in English Education, a Licentiate Degree in English and a Master’s Degree in TESOL from the University of Costa Rica. I have served as a teacher trainer in the Professional Development Project for in-service teachers as part of the National Commission of University Deans in collaboration with the Ministry of Education. My research interests revolve around the integration of technology into the classroom and, more formally, in TESOL pedagogy to
make learning English as a Foreign Language accessible to all students. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Second Language Acquisition and Teaching (SLAT) from the University of Arizona, United States of America.
