Bio
January 1, 2015. A new year. It is not by chance that I have chosen today to set up a blog account. I have been procrastinating for years and today seemed to be a fitting day to get going on it. And to top it off, it is a nice snowy day out so I am not complaining being stuck to the computer instead of outside being with the horses, dogs and nature.
Out with the old, in with the new, that is what they say when we turn into a new year. For me, I honor the old; the lessons that they brought, and found a way to blend it with the new. I am grateful for the new year and the new purposes it brings out in me. Each new endeavor has brought me closer to getting this blog started.
My background professions are: a horse trainer/instructor/coach since 1984, known as Cloverleaf Horse Farm; a Reiki Master Pratitioner and Teacher, specializing in Animal Reiki, known as All Speicies Reiki, and an Animal Communicator for many of those years. Wearing all these hats, seeing how they integrate and connect to each other, have led me to want to share my experiences, thoughts and passions to you, the reader.
There are many subjects that I want to blog about, most of the blogs will have much to do with the human-animal connection. The connections that make my heart sing, and the missed connections that need to find a resolve. 'Messages for the Mindful' is my catch phrase; it will be full of subjects that makes us happy, subjects that makes us think and feel, but mostly, subjects that will make us want to 'do'. Make us want to examine our beliefs, or to validate and confirm them. Help us be able to throw away what no longer serves us and to be able to use our energy to be a positive changing force in this world that so needs compassion and empathy from every one of us.
