Bio
Essayist, memoirist, poet, and graphic artist. This blog, Write From Life, is an informal place where I celebrate the joys and gritch about the miseries of being an independent writer and small-press publisher. I think most of my readers and followers are similarly engaded, either personally or professionally. We are often helpful to each other by communicating questions, answers, and jerry-rigs to problems we have in common..
The posts are thoughts, ideas, resources, books, and my own brain-wandering. Basically things I discover that might be helpful to others who are on this path with me, who are also being called to tell our truth, "ready or not."
This started as a group blog for a writing group called North Berkeley Writers, later morphed into Writer To Writer, and then Write From LIfe when it began to focus more specifically on the writing of memoir and creative nonfiction narrative.
So I am the den-mother of this mess. Welcome aboard.
