Bio
Hello
This blog contains my photography both commissioned and personal, and will be regularly updated as i undertake new projects. It is a bit slow in the making, so please also have a look at my site www.victorianightingale.com
And here's a bit about me......
Victoria is becoming known for her work in reportage and portraiture, where her distinctive style seamlessly straddles the two. Her natural approach to the environment she chooses and her freedom of execution is reflected wonderfully in her character’s relaxed and honest poise. Her act of storytelling is both capturing and intimate. As well as being commissioned by The face, The Sunday Times and Nokia to name but a few, Victoria has been recognised and shortlisted for The Observer, Seeds of Change Award, BJP Endframe Award and also a finalist for the Kodak award. In her free-er time, Victoria commissions her own work where she merges other interests of high fashion and studio with her reportage, producing exciting and refreshing subjects which continue to push her own boundaries of story telling. Originally based in London, Victoria has brought the skills that she learnt in the industry to her new home in Western Australia.
