Bio
My name is Vivian Dixon Sober(Vivian). I am a creative writer, a poet, and a essayist. I was born and raised in Rhode Island. I am the middle child of three. When I was seven, my father was shot and killed, which introduced me to an overwhelming pain that shaped my life. I've always used writing as a coping mechanism. I didn't know it was a gift from God.
Writing is an incredible way to give yourself a voice--when nobody wants to hear yours.
I write from my heart on this blog. There are no red markers to demean my abilities. Writing transforms lives. I believe everyone can write.
