Prayers don't always get it done! So you sit there with a big turkey and all the fixings and pray " Thank you Lord for these Thy gifts and please feed the hungry"
You feel good that some how the Lord is going to come down from haven and put food on the hominess's cardboard boxes .
News flash it don't happen that way!!!
We want small parcels of land to use . The owners keep their land and pick all they want for there family . The remaining produce that goes to the food pantry is in land owners name for tax credit
Vista chapel is not seeking any thank you rewards only to feed the hungry
this way we do less praying and a lot more feeding!
We are here to feed the hungry. We do not want money. What we seek is people who want to help , farmers that will give a little time to plow some fields , people to buy plants or seedlings volunteers to plant and persons to weed . .
Please do not send money or plants / fertilizer / or any thing else to Vista Chapel in PA. Just your name and a contact number, your town and state. We will try to assemble farmers or gardeners / plant donations / land owners and local food pantries for each town.
Each town will meet and work out there details and the transportation of people and produce to your local food pantry. Please all produce should be weighted and reported to Vista Chapel for record keeping
We need help pickers ! weed pullers ! planters !
