"Trying to understand war rhetoric is like trying to slay the hydra."
WarRhetoric.com traces its roots to the fall of 2012, when Mike Bergmaier, Kaitlyn Patia, and William Saas formed a reading group and quickly realized a need to bring scholars of war rhetoric into conversation with one another. Those meetings led to the successful 2013 NCA Preconference "Mapping the Shifting Grounds of Post-9/11 War Rhetoric," fruitful ideas for future research...and this collaborative blog.
