Bio
Hi there! I'm Joy, inspired from the movie Inside Out 2015.
After almost losing my life in a dreadful experience in the UK, overcoming it alone abroad and recovering for a year+,
My People kept repeating, "you are too optimistic, too generous. How do you keep this up? Your energy never drained?[...] Also, you should give talks, share You".
They inspired me to open up a blog, and "share" the truth I now live by:
I only "keep going", "growing" in life by being the genuine, generous, giving me that i am with "others" - My People, I call them.
The circle of My People is not 'selective few'.. it kept growing since 2015, the more i am Me.
It grows every day I invest a kind gesture, word, message, visit in/to someone; they invest back in Me bringing me joy! You'll meet my real individuals in my posts:)
My blog is a kind of post-accident resolution,
It is a promise: to invest in others, to watch the magic it works on people in My life. Ripples!
WEgrowthroughothers is/will also be a reminder to myself and my people that:
we all have a hidden potential within us, one which life has never bothered to unveil partly because we are constantly scared of giving too much and partly reluctant to play all our cards fear of others "taking what we have".
I, honestly, live off My people's thank yous, appreciation, discrete recognition, public and personal gratitude notes, really.
My Why and How?
"Others" in your life share your same worries, pains, insecurities, dreams, hopes, and successes, but we only realize that when you share a piece of you and doors wide open for you into "Others'" lives.
Having looked death right in the eyes in a way i can never forget, I now live my life completely in touch with my emotions, sharing them, investing in others because in only 1 night, I may not have changed the lives of the 100+people i did since i survived and recovered.
My blog is the real world i live in;
I share my accident's trauma, insecurities, my daily life lessons post-, my challenges, moments, acts and conversations that made my day every day/week/month.
I hope this "open diary" of mine
encourages you to share what you appreciate most in life, what saddens you most, what you are grateful for every 1 day you get to breathe ..
I'm still going because of you my people, I truly am:)
With all my love,
Joy
