Bio
I live where you want to visit. My family moved to the Napa Valley four decades ago, and I grew up at Stag's Leap Vineyards. My family is all about the food and wine. Dad owns a winery (Quixote) and sis and her husband own a restaurant (Terra).
Unlike other members of my family, I am not in the business of hedonism. I am an urban planner. It doesn't get much less glamorous than that. But my life has always been enriched by my relations. That's some of what I want to share in this blog.
I undertake this blog at a strange juncture in my life. I am unemployed. The love of my life, George, died six months ago. And yet here I sit, in paradise.
Napa is all that, and I'm going to tell you all about it.
