Bio
Jack Dziamba (Dzamba) is a photographer and president of Icron Image International,
a company devoted to fine are photography. He has won a number of awards
for his work.. His image, Melissa, won First Place, Fashion Photography, in the Pollux
Awards for October 2011 and Honorable Mention for the 2011 Pollux Awards, which
will be shown at the "International Biennial of Fine Art and Documentary Photography
Exhibition,” at the Borges Cultural Center, Buenos Aires, Argentina, from January 19
- February 27, 2012., (thegalaawards.net) His work was also chosen as an Official
Selection, 2010 Paris Photo Competition. His work has also won Honorable Mention
placements in the 2008 International Photography Association (IPA) Photographer
of the Year Awards, the 2008 Prix de la Photographie Paris Human Condition
Competition, and the 2007 Prix de la Photographie Paris Competition www.px3.fr.
Jack's, image, Remembrance, taken at the Louvre in Paris, was chosen in a National
Juried Competition in 2003, and in 2010 his image, Not Alone, from his book
Paris in Boston was chosen for an exhibit in a National Juried Competition. Both
Competitions were judged by the Director of the San Francisco Museum of Modern
Art (SFMOA) Artists Gallery.
In 2008, he published the book, Paris in Boston, (available on Amazon). His work has
also been published in two other books of fine art photography: Incredible Eyes, TCB-
Café Publishing, San Francisco (2005), and Like Sand From Orchid’s Lips, TCB- Café
Publishing, San Francisco, (2006).
In 2010, his work from Paris in Boston was shown in Le Pecq, France, near Paris, and
six of his images were selected for permanent installation by the city of Le Pecq.
Also in 2010, his work from the series “Paris in New York, Boston, and Paris” was
shown in New York City in a solo exhibit at Paula Barr chelsea, (now SI Chelsea),
where he has had annual solo exhibits since 2008. In December 2011, work from
Paris in New York was shown at S&I Chelsea. New York.
In 2009, works from Paris in Boston were shown at the French Library in Boston.
In December 2010, he premiered his new series, Women in Tuxedos, at PaulaBarr
chelsea.
His work has been exhibited in solo shows in New York City, Boston, and San
Francisco, and in a group show in Le Pecq, France.
He lives in the Boston metropolitan area and teaches at Boston University.
He is represented by the gallery, S&I Chelsea, in New York City.
