Bio
hello! I'm Esther, the Kao behind whollyKao.
whollyKao.com originated as a wedding website for my husband Jeff and I in 2009 (back then, I was a Leong!). I converted the site to my personal blog after we got married. It is here that I document my discoveries since becoming a Kao. This includes crafts, design inspiration, recipes, travels and the like.
By day, I work as an art director in advertising. At night, the crafts come out. I also make jewelry. I like food, especially if its from local hole-in-the-wall places. I hate touching raw meat, so I’d prefer to cook vegetarian. My only pet thus far in life has been a pet chicken. I’ve only been in Dallas for two years and a couple odd months, and I'm still discovering all this city has to offer.
