Bio
A Wisconsin native, I was born and grew up in Janesville. I have been flyfishing in Wisconsin for over 25 years. An advanced-level fly-tier, my flies have been ’tuned’ for Wisconsin waters over the years. Teaching is also a focus including beginner, intermediate and advanced fly-tying classes . . . and I am just beginning to apply my knowledge of Wisconsin streams and rivers to do some guiding. I am a member of the Milwaukee Chapter to Trout Unlimited.
I currently live in Fox Point with my wife Maggie and have 4 kids: Caitlin (Steve with Grandson Woods), Daniel, Gabe and Sam.
Along with flyfishing, I have become very passionate about photography. Flyfishing has lead me to some remarkably beautiful places and inspiration took over from there: I had to bring these places home with me . . . through pictures.
