Bio
As a longtime writer, editor, and Chinese linguist, I recently published two books on Christian apologetics. Testing the Spirits: Engaging the Culture and Embracing the Light of Jesus assesses the state of the American union in light of centuries of secularization and decades of fast-moving globalization. Reaping the Whirlwind: Broken Foundations, Lukewarmness, and Impending Judgment follows an even broader arc that considers the Creation, the Fall, the Flood, the Tower of Babel (confusion of tongues and dispersion), church history, the missionary era, spiritual regression, social decay, political and military matters, and prophesied judgment. Whether looking at the last 300 years or 6,000 years, one beholds a cosmic and earthly battle between good and evil. The Bible speaks of the Lion of Judah, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will defeat His enemies and create a kingdom that will never be destroyed. Testing the Spirits and Reaping the Whirlwind are eminently readable tomes that recognize man's need for salvation and point thinking souls to the saving grace of King Jesus.
