Bio
An American who has lived most of his life in France, I was born and raised in upstate New York. I graduated with a degree in philosophy from Boston College and worked at various jobs in the wine industry: Charles Heidsieck in Reims, Sterling in Napa Valley, Albert Besombes in Saumur, and three négociants in Bordeaux (Borie Manoux, Chantecaille, and De Luze). I then set up a translation agency, Aquitaine Traduction, which services the wine industry among other customers. I have lived in Bordeaux since 1978. My wife Christine is from the UK and I have many links with that country.
