Bio
As my recently published book of creative memoirs, entitled Meet Me in St. Louis reveals, I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. As a young adult, after living ten years in Venezuela, South America, re-settled--along with my husband and children--in the California Bay Area. A Stanford University retiree, I am a long-time member of Jack London's one-hundred-year-old California Writers Club. Other than a two-year stint in Zambia, Africa (my book,entitled Gule Wamkulu-The Big Dance, tells the story)--extensive travel throughout Bavaria and among the Aboriginal in Northen Australia, home remains the ethnically diverse community that is the Bay Area. Family, friends, here and over the world; it is they, and the beauty of the world we share, that spill onto the pages of my books.
