Bio
I am a high school special education teacher. Two years ago educators in my school were forced to read and put into practice the philosophy of a book of corporate propaganda. I wrote a parady of this book entitled Phish!
I tried hard to attract the attention of a literary agent and failed. Eventually I realized that the chances of my publishing a parady of a highly successful book, when I was an unknown, were next to impossible. But I have such empathy for Dolores, my central character, that I am unwilling to be the only person who attends her funeral. If you're someone who is uncomfortable in your place of work, maybe you would like to read Phish! and then stand with me when it's time to throw on a handful of dirt. I hope you'll like what I've written and talk to me.
Phish! is utterly secular, but I am not. I call myself a "Messianic Zionist." (Most people of my ilk call themselves "Christian Zionists.) I'm a gentile whose spiritual heart is in the shape of geographical Israel, a person who believes the Bible is true and that Jews really are God's "chosen." I hope that declaration won't stop you off from reading Phish!
I'm going to post a chapter a day until the story concludes. Please let me hear from you.
