Bio
I have been a First Nations wildcraft teacher and a vender off and on for the past 20 years in BC and Quebec. I went through one year of K'san Carving school in 1992 here in BC and then a 2 year Computer Graphic Arts course in Quebec and have been an artist all my life. I have been well known for my professionalism and kindness, as well as being knowledgeable in arts and native culture. When I have time, I like to go w/ my husband into the mountains to pick berries, gather herbs and hunt in the peak seasons.
We have opened up our store on Reserve of Witset First Nation on Charrine’s Ancestral 1Unceded Wet’suwet’en Territory (British Columbia, Canada) Witset is formerly known at Moricetown after Father Morice who banished our culture from our people in the early 1880’s.
My husband Todd and I have built our business from making Dreamcatchers for Angelique Levac-Merasty in Prince George BC to Harvesting and wildcrafting our own line of Traditional Tea’s, Salves and healing art. You can find out how to visit us on the About tab
2The Wet'suwet'en people speak Witsuwit'en, a dialect of the Babine-Witsuwit'en language which, like its sister language Carrier, is a member of the Athabaskan family.

1Unceded territory in British Columbia (BC) is land that was never legally given up by the Indigenous people who traditionally lived there. This means that the Crown does not own the land outright.
