Bio
Small towns have influenced the character, beliefs, and development of many of us. In turn, these influences have affected our reactions to our environment, whether social or physical and whether consciously or subconsciously, for the rest of our lives. Every town has stories that reflect these influences. Studying the history of a small town, such as that of Sharpsville, Pennsylvania, tells us who we basically are, where we come from.
I lived in Sharpsville in the 1950s when I was 10 to 18 years old. The several years I've been gathering stories for "Small Town Memories" has not only been a way to connect my memories with the history of the Sharpsville area but also a journey toward increased self-realization.
