Bio
I AM GOD is company based on raising awareness, self esteem and high values. I was born after the apartheid regime in South Africa, So our past did not give us much to feel proud about other than the freedom that we still don't have.
So growing up from Umlazi, I learned to understand that we don't see ourselves as people who can change the world. But we can start with something, which is the way we look at ourselves and our selfworth.
In my teenage years, I used to go to church regularly and stumbled upon a verse which is Pslam 46:10 "BE STILL, AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD. I WILL BE EXALTED AMONG THE NATIONS, I WILL BE EXALTED IN THE EARTH."
This verse gave me a voice to actually look at the man in the mirror and ask myself who exactly am I? And soon enough I had my answer, that I am the creator of my own goals, a vessel for change, and above all my mother's son.
Another verse that also resonated with me at a later stage is "I SAID, YOU ARE GODS. YOU ARE THE CHILDREN OF THE MOST HIGH." - Psalm 82:6
Therefore, I can see myself as the next person who is going to change the world regardless of my past, I am pro-black, I am also the only person who can pray for my dreams into fruition, while applying work towards my goals.
Cause if only I can pray for something and sit down, with no action those prayers won't be answered. So I learned to understand that, I'm the god I'm always praying too not forgetting that there is a higher power which placed us here on this earth for greater purpose.
And not to dwell on just the Christianity perspective on the brand I learned that after a few years my understanding of a higher power soon evolved and cultivated into a singular entity as all things are interconnected. Looking at one example being the law of attraction and how that can help one reach their goals as a form of prayer.
I Am God is not just limited to one religion or belief system but rather to embrace all walks of life that help us get a step closer to understanding ourselves and our purpose.
