Bio
PhD, UC Davis, 1986, nutritional biochemistry. I retired as a science writer, teacher, and researcher in 2015 and began my second career as a researcher and writer in the field of anthropology. My area of interest is in symbolic narratives as literary texts found in archaeological contexts. My research results on the origin c. 2250 BCE in Peru and spread of Twisted Gourd cosmology as a charter for social organization and authority that became the basis for a pan-Amerindian worldview reached the ancestral Puebloans of the American Southwest c. 750 CE are posted on this website and continue to be updated as new evidence is found.
